Music Instructor

I am an applied music instructor and music technology producer with an undergraduate degree in applied music (Classical guitar) and a Master of Arts in music from San Jose State University. I have experience teaching at a variety of learning institutions, from private studios, workshops, such as The South Bay Guitar Society outreach concerts and at DeAnza and Foothill colleges. Empowering students to find and developed their musical mind and artistic expression has been my life’s work.

I teach several undergraduate music courses including Introduction to Classical guitar, Acoustic guitar techniques, Jazz Blues and Popular guitar, Introduction to Electronic Music and Recording Arts. At my private studio I teach all ages and levels of classical, electric, bass guitars as well as ukulele. I strive to support the needs of individual learners by developing coursework that instills strong fundamentals and encourages creativity.

In addition to performing concerts, outreach programs and clinics he also plays solo and ensemble events. You can hear him perform originals, arrangements and solo guitar music every Friday at the Santa Clara Marriott.
